Associate Community Interpreter
My passion to languages has started long time ago. I always enjoyed learning a foreign language and getting to know more about different cultures and communities. My journey started when I went to Damascus University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree of Arts in English Literature. Then I had the opportunity to work in Interpretation and translation as a contractor with the Ministry of Religious Endowments at Damascus, Syria. I moved to Edmonton, Canada in 2009 and continued my passion in interpretation and translation. So, I became a certified community Interpreter by CISOC then a certified English-Arabic translator by the Global Translation Institute and finally I succeeded to be an associate community Interpreter at ATIA, the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta. I am very happy to help in communication and empowering our communities with mutual understanding.
