Zulema Mercedes Ortega is an accomplished Spanish language professional in Toronto. She obtained her B. A. honors degree in Translation and Interpretation in the Spanish, English, and French languages from Ricardo Palma University in 1995. Right after graduation, she relocated to Toronto where she has been a practicing translator and interpreter since 2001 in the legal, immigration, mental health, health promotion, and commercial areas.
Her training and passion in the field go beyond general translation as well her use of different file formats and terminology databases. She enjoys being challenged in her localization, subtitling, and transcription projects, as they bring out the best of her skills and ingenuity.
