ATIA’s membership year is September 1 to August 31. Your membership dues for 2024-2025 are to be paid by August 31, 2024.
To renew your dues online now for Sept 1, 2024 – August 31, 2025 simply scroll down and depending on your membership type choose the appropriate ticket type then click on Add to Cart then click on Cart to proceed through the prompts and to the checkout.
Alternative Payment: If online payment via PayPal or credit card is not an option, you may E-transfer. Make sure to include your full member name in the message box if using a company account. Send the payment to admin@atia.ab.ca and only create with the password ATIAdues

ALL members must log onto the website read the Membership Contract then click on the box to Accept ATIA’s Membership Contract Terms ‘enter current year of acceptance (eg. 2024)
- Ensure your address is correct – this is NOT visible on the website! We use this to create labels for mailing out membership cards.
- Click “Update”
- This is a great opportunity to update your profile and make sure that the content is in line with our Code of Ethics and Code of Professional Conduct. ATIA will randomly review and remove profiles that violate our Code of Ethics and/or provide links to websites with content that violate them. Some examples of violation of ATIA’s Code of Ethics include:
- Claiming that you are a certified community interpreter when you’re an associate community interpreter
- Claiming that you are a certified translator when you are an associate community interpreter
- Claiming that you are a certified court interpreter when you are an associate translator or associate community interpreter
- Claiming that you are a certified court interpreter when you are a certified translator.
- If you made any changes to your profile, let admin know so the details are filtered correctly to your website profile.
Membership cards will be mailed to your address on file.
