Aida’s Bio:
Experienced English – Russian Translator and Associate Member of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta (ATIA) with over 10 years of progressive experience in interpretation and translation. Licensed Community Interpreter Trainer (TCIT) who has successfully trained and mentored over 100 professional interpreters and translators since 2020, and has provided instruction on a range of essential topics, including preparation for the interpreter proficiency test, community interpreter ethics and protocols, basic translation techniques, formatting, editing, proofreading, and an introduction to CAT tools.

This webinar is designed for both practicing community interpreters and novice professionals.

This 90-minute session will include:

  • An overview of note-taking principles
  • Note-taking exercises and activities
  • Practical guidelines for enhancing note-taking skills
